The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fernando Bermudez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Agustin Vincent fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Bermudez having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Drysdale's goalkeeper Fernando Bermudez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Agustin Vincent. An unexpected shot in the 87th minute by Wilfredo Bernal got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Río Volga's Ulises Deunoro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardino Cristos in the 97th minute of play. Marcial Sugar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulises Deunoro having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
