He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 23 minutes into the match, Rodero's goal looked a bit too open when Silvano Galo came free, but Jimeno Dolfo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 26 played minutes C.A. Boca Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Prospero Iago. Primitivo Cordeal made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Freddy Sazon sent off a good shot on target. When Rodero's Victor Telo in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C.A. Boca Juniors's goalie prevented a goal. Reynaldo Luzaide recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Freddy Sazon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rodero's supporters rose to their feet, but Freddy Sazon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Primitivo Cordeal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maximino Sidro kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Prospero Iago made a precise shot to the right of Jimeno Dolfo. Rodero's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Prospero Iago was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Rodero's goalkeeper Jimeno Dolfo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silvano Galo. If Victor Telo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Danilo Nesor hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Freddy Sazon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Silvano Galo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Jimeno Dolfo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silvano Galo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 68th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 74th minute Cristo Ibar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Primitivo Cordeal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Freddy Sazon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Primitivo Cordeal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Telo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Prospero Iago came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the C.A. Boca Juniors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Prospero Iago couldn't finish the play. C.A. Boca Juniors's Silvano Galo got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 86th minute of the match, Silvano Galo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jimeno Dolfo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Reynaldo Luzaide during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Reynaldo Luzaide kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Rodero's Jimeno Dolfo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prospero Iago in the 93rd minute of play.
