Spectators: 7117 (Terracing: 5517, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ignacio Gorosti kicked off to start the match. Ezequiel Shepherd did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Vicente Donzel 4 minutes into the match. Palmas F.C.'s Vicente Donzel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ezequiel Shepherd in the 10th minute of play. Aquiles Iraunkor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Donzel having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ezequiel Shepherd in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vicente Donzel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 16 minutes into the game, Cleto Tome cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Vicente Donzel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Palmas F.C.'s zone, Cleto Tome stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vicente Donzel came out of the goal and Cleto Tome tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Rey de Copas getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Tadeo Vitin hit a great ball. Rey de Copas's Ladislao Rey shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 28th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Vicente Donzel but with some difficulty. Aquilino Manni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Donzel having to interfere. Leandro Peli charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leandro Peli the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Palmas F.C. getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Leandro Peli hit a great ball. Palmas F.C.'s Vicente Donzel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Palmas F.C. from getting a goal against them. Ezequiel Shepherd might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vicente Donzel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ezequiel Shepherd ran back to his position shaking his head. Rey de Copas's Aquilino Manni couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Palmas F.C.. Ezequiel Shepherd recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ezequiel Shepherd was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Rey de Copas's Cecilio Errolan got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 59th minute, Cleto Tome left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rey de Copas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. After a defensive mix-up in Palmas F.C.'s zone, Ezequiel Shepherd stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vicente Donzel came out of the goal and Ezequiel Shepherd tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rey de Copas's Christian Umbruso got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 66 minutes into the match, Palmas F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Aquilino Manni came free, but Vicente Donzel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rey de Copas made a substitution. Luisito Lizar replaced Cleto Tome. Rey de Copas were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after Palmas F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aquilino Manni took the corner. Rey de Copas's Aquilino Manni was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Vicente Donzel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When the match clock showed 71 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Ezequiel Shepherd sped through Palmas F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vicente Donzel. Ignacio Gorosti kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. In the 75th minute, Ignacio Gorosti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 81st minute Ezequiel Shepherd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Donzel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aquiles Iraunkor took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vicente Donzel. Vicente Donzel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ezequiel Shepherd in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vicente Donzel saved Palmas F.C. from getting behind. In the 86th minute, Aquiles Iraunkor made a precise shot to the right of Vicente Donzel. Palmas F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. Luisito Lizar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Donzel having to interfere. Tadeo Vitin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vicente Donzel having to make a save. Vicente Donzel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisito Lizar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 97th minute, Aquiles Iraunkor made a precise shot to the right of Vicente Donzel. Palmas F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. Rey de Copas walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
