Adolfo Lauro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godofredo Gaizko having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, Larroque's goal looked a bit too open when Victorio Terciero came free, but Godofredo Gaizko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Elvio Osoitz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Godofredo Gaizko was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. After having played for 57 minutes, Elvio Osoitz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. sporting Gualeyo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elvio Osoitz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Larroque's defense didn't have a chance, in the 64th minute, when Victorio Terciero scored to the left of an out of position Godofredo Gaizko, making the score, 1-1. Eduardo Ourente hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Victorio Terciero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 77 played minutes Larroque got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Ourente. 78 minutes into the match, sporting Gualeyo's Teobaldo Laffitte broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Pastor Maura came free with the goalkeeper in the 80th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Godofredo Gaizko could save by the left post. The audience was convinced that Victorio Terciero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Godofredo Gaizko was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. In the 86th minute, Javier Onofre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ceferino Ubelteso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute.
