After some careless play in the Club Atlético Unión defense, Leo Venerando kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Patricio Policarpio. The Club Atlético Unión fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Patricio Policarpio should have stopped the shot. In the 8th minute, Artemio Eder reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Clemente Lucila. The goal made the score 1-1. A collision led to SAN MARTIN DE SAN JUAN getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Emilio Ledesma hit a great ball. When Artemio Eder came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Club Atlético Unión fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Artemio Eder couldn't finish the play. Patricio Policarpio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Dalmacio Fix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ceferino Endira took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Clemente Lucila. SAN MARTIN DE SAN JUAN's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Patricio Policarpio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dalmacio Fix in the 40th minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Leo Venerando ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Patricio Policarpio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The Club Atlético Unión players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SAN MARTIN DE SAN JUAN were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dalmacio Fix made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Artemio Eder got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Club Atlético Unión booed when SAN MARTIN DE SAN JUAN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalmacio Fix didn't get a good kick on the ball. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Club Atlético Unión reached it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Artemio Eder in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Clemente Lucila prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Club Atlético Unión's Artemio Eder in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Patricio Policarpio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patricio Policarpio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cosme Hanni in the 90th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Artemio Eder in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Clemente Lucila prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Artemio Eder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the final whistle went the supporters of SAN MARTIN DE SAN JUAN were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Club Atlético Unión side.
