Cosme Hanni blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Silvano Matteo having to make a save. Silvano Matteo was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Dalmacio Fix capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dalmacio Fix really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Leo Venerando's late challenge caught a Paul Van Dyk FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Silvano Matteo.
