In the 17th match minute, Icaro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ambrosio Deunoro to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Alvaro Frasco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Malbica FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alvaro Frasco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The tension between the Malbica FC and the Icaro players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 55 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Malbica FC! 64 minutes into the match, Malbica FC's Lázaro Cordearo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabio Frisco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Esteban Bladi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermegildo Mirande having to interfere.
