Spectators: 7152 (Terracing: 5398, Seating: 1654, VIP seats: 100) Edgard Gimenez started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Korkut Özver took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fulgencio Tiso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulgencio Tiso in the 9th minute of play forced Gmo Brown's goalkeeper Korkut Özver to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Icaro's Esteban Bladi in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gmo Brown's goalie prevented a goal. Fabio Frisco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Narciso Laffitte in the 18th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Narciso Laffitte got free with Fabio Frisco in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Edgard Gimenez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hermengildo Aznar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Fabio Frisco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabio Frisco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard Gimenez in the 34th minute of play. After 35 played minutes Gmo Brown got a freekick which was hit by Dalmacio Montes. Fulgencio Tiso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Korkut Özver having to interfere. Narciso Laffitte blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabio Frisco having to make a save. The referee ignored Icaro's protests and gave Segundo Enetz a yellow card for diving instead. After 43 played minutes Icaro got a freekick which was hit by Segundo Enetz. The audience thought a goal was coming when Narciso Laffitte got free with Fabio Frisco in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Esteban Bladi to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edgard Gimenez in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabio Frisco saved Icaro from getting behind. Igor Sandalio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Frisco having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Icaro's zone, Igor Sandalio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabio Frisco came out of the goal and Igor Sandalio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Narciso Laffitte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Fabio Frisco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 67 minutes, Narciso Laffitte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gmo Brown's supporters crossed their fingers, but Narciso Laffitte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fulgencio Tiso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Korkut Özver tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 71 minutes into the game, Esteban Bladi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Korkut Özver. Esteban Bladi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. Fabio Frisco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Narciso Laffitte went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Narciso Laffitte struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Fabio Frisco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gmo Brown. The audience was convinced that Edgard Gimenez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabio Frisco was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Icaro's zone, Narciso Laffitte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabio Frisco came out of the goal and Narciso Laffitte tried to chip the ball over his head. An unexpected shot in the 89th minute by Fulgencio Tiso got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Esteban Bladi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
