In the 9th match minute, Infinity was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Theobald to maneuver through the defense. 10 minutes into the match, Los Diablos del Sur's Remigio Avellaneda broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfredo Theobald during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alfredo Theobald hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Alberto Caton came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Los Diablos del Sur's Rigoberto Eguntsenti. But to his dismay, Rigoberto Eguntsenti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 27th minute Los Diablos del Sur were awarded a corner. Remigio Avellaneda went to the cornerflag to take it. After 29 minutes, Eusebio Evangelista mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Diablos del Sur and the Infinity players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Infinity booed when Los Diablos del Sur was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusebio Evangelista didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfredo Theobald came free in the 31st minute and tried to tip the ball over Hipolito Ieltxu, but to the joy of Los Diablos del Sur's supporters the ball hit the crossbar and out. Humberto Louis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Hipolito Ieltxu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Serafin Pasqual during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 40th minute of the game. One of Los Diablos del Sur:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Infinity:s goal.

The wind increased when Amadeo Magdaleno made the kick off in the second half. Alberto Caton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonzalo Omero, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. When Infinity's Amadeo Magdaleno in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Los Diablos del Sur's goalie prevented a goal. Gonzalo Omero hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. When Amadeo Magdaleno came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Infinity fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amadeo Magdaleno couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rigoberto Eguntsenti got free with Alberto Caton in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 66thth minute of the game Bonifacio Distiratsu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Infinity's Alberto Caton was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Los Diablos del Sur getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Eusebio Evangelista hit a great ball. Bonifacio Distiratsu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Caton having to interfere. The supporters of Los Diablos del Sur booed when Infinity was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Theobald didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Amadeo Magdaleno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Diablos del Sur's goalkeeper Hipolito Ieltxu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 89th minute Humberto Louis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hipolito Ieltxu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Infinity's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Bonifacio Distiratsu 93 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2.
