Lorenzo Benet's late challenge caught a Icaro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lorenzo Benet helped the player get up and apologised. Fabio Frisco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nemesio Elequemedo in the 34th minute of play. Metalistic's Moises Juvenal got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 38 minutes into the match, Marcos Orlondo notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Metalistic's Rudolf Arvid. Rudolf Arvid was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 44 minutes into the match, Icaro's goal looked a bit too open when Nemesio Elequemedo came free, but Fabio Frisco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Metalistic's goal looked a bit too open when Angelo Natanael came free, but Rudolf Arvid reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

But to his dismay, Moises Juvenal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Nemesio Elequemedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Frisco having to interfere. When Moises Juvenal came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Metalistic fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moises Juvenal couldn't finish the play.
