Benjamin Frances fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Korkut Özver having to interfere. If Igor Sandalio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Korkut Özver made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Benjamin Frances sent off a good shot on target. Leandro Donostia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard Gimenez in the 35th minute of play. When Cirilo Cordarrell fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Boca Juniors M.E.C's protests and gave Cirilo Cordarrell a yellow card for diving instead. 41 minutes into the match, Igor Sandalio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leandro Donostia. Boca Juniors M.E.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Igor Sandalio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Edgard Gimenez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Gimenez in the 54th minute of play forced Boca Juniors M.E.C's goalkeeper Leandro Donostia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Boca Juniors M.E.C's Leandro Donostia got control of the ball when Narciso Laffitte tried to sneak it across the goal line. Narciso Laffitte's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leandro Donostia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Tomás Ted struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Korkut Özver didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boca Juniors M.E.C. Edgard Gimenez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 70 played minutes Boca Juniors M.E.C got a freekick which was hit by Ildefonso Luzaide. The crowd rose to their feet as Gmo Brown's Edgard Gimenez slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Leandro Donostia. That made the score 0-2 after 71 minutes of play. Isidoro Qwinton took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 74th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Korkut Özver. Gmo Brown's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Adolfo Espiridion fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Boca Juniors M.E.C's protests and gave Adolfo Espiridion a yellow card for diving instead. Adolfo Espiridion kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgard Gimenez couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benjamin Frances in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Korkut Özver saved Gmo Brown from getting behind. Korkut Özver showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomás Ted, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Gmo Brown played a much better game than Boca Juniors M.E.C and deserved their victory. The Boca Juniors M.E.C players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
