The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pedermar FC. 40 minutes into the match, Pedermar FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelino Guerrero came free, but Marcial Abella reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tadeo Ipar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Marcial Abella made a huge save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabio Gervaso was the one to do the kick off. In the 86th minute, Anselmo Erauso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 90 minutes had been played when some careless play by Pedermar FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Aristides Etxahun was slow to take the kick. During this time Papa Roach's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Papa Roach's corner Aristides Etxahun fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marcial Abella quite easily take care of the ball.
