If Lorenzo Gonzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Anselmo Aznar came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Buitres FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anselmo Aznar couldn't finish the play. 10 minutes into the game, Anselmo Aznar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Victorio Petrigai was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Buitres FC booed when Gonzalo Castelli FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celso Gaizkine didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anselmo Aznar in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Victorio Petrigai prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 18th minute Delmar Bingen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victorio Petrigai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ismael Gartxot lost his temper 21 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Buitres FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 19th minute. Penalty! Victorio Petrigai stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anselmo Aznar's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Narciso Mendez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Victorio Petrigai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Gonzalo Castelli FC's zone, Anselmo Aznar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victorio Petrigai came out of the goal and Anselmo Aznar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Buitres FC's Lorenzo Gonzo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Fabian Sendoa in the 31 minute of the game. Victorio Petrigai came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Buitres FC's Anselmo Aznar. But to his dismay, Anselmo Aznar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 38th match minute, Gonzalo Castelli FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marciano Gagriel to maneuver through the defense. Victorio Petrigai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramon Ramos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the match, Gonzalo Castelli FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Aznar came free, but Victorio Petrigai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anselmo Aznar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Victorio Petrigai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, Buitres FC's goalkeeper Edelmiro Bartuelo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cornelio Mannie. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anselmo Aznar was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Anselmo Aznar dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Victorio Petrigai, 1-3. 55 minutes into the match, Buitres FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cornelio Mannie came free, but Edelmiro Bartuelo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 57 minutes into the game, Lorenzo Gonzo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Victorio Petrigai was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Anselmo Aznar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorio Petrigai having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Cayetano Oliveiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gonzalo Castelli FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. Delmar Bingen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Haroldo Orlo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gonzalo Castelli FC's Victorio Petrigai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Aznar in the 70th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Gonzalo Castelli FC's Cornelio Mannie got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Victorio Petrigai didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 75th minute, which inside left pole to 2-5. 79 minutes into the match, Gonzalo Castelli FC's goalkeeper Victorio Petrigai had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anselmo Aznar. With his leg Victorio Petrigai managed to avoid a goal in the 81stth minute, when Buitres FC's Anselmo Aznar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Anselmo Aznars short, quick shot in the 83rdth minute got Victorio Petrigai to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Anselmo Aznar had several of the Gonzalo Castelli FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 85 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-6 score and a disappointed Victorio Petrigai as he didn't even see the shot coming. Anselmo Aznar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorio Petrigai having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anselmo Aznar in the 90th minute of play forced Gonzalo Castelli FC's goalkeeper Victorio Petrigai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victorio Petrigai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delmar Bingen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 92 in the game by Anselmo Aznar from a close distance when the talented Victorio Petrigai managed to make a qualified save. Gonzalo Castelli FC's players were relieved. Anselmo Aznar who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 96thth minute tested the skills of Victorio Petrigai when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The Gonzalo Castelli FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Buitres FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
