The supporters of Capdevila booed when Racing Club de Caseros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elpidio Sasoin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicolas Jaume received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Paulo Espiridion tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paulo Espiridion prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nicolas Jaume recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anselmo Escobar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aquilino Quintyn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Rubio in the 27th minute of the match. Paulo Espiridion made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Gerazan in the 56th minute. In the 59th minute Anselmo Escobar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquilino Quintyn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anselmo Escobar in the 68th minute of play forced Capdevila's goalkeeper Aquilino Quintyn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Nicolas Jaume's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paulo Espiridion was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Capdevila players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
