After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Fabian Rubio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Racing Club de Caseros's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabian Rubio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Maties breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Racing Club de Caseros's Paulo Espiridion played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hilario Manuelo in the 29th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fabian Rubio made a kick off. A collision led to TigreEsDe1ra getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Higinio Pabla hit a great ball. If Rafael Ovando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nicanor Jenaro kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Melchor Savier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carlos Maties came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Racing Club de Caseros's Fabian Rubio. But to his dismay, Fabian Rubio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Racing Club de Caseros's Anselmo Escobar got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carlos Maties made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Anselmo Escobar sent off a good shot on target. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Racing Club de Caseros walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
