But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ambrosio Admon couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erubiel Urko during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Rumios getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Erubiel Urko hit a great ball. Ceferino Eneto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Guillermo Pere dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. When the referee ended the match the Rumios players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
