When Cipriano Llorian came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Independiente FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cipriano Llorian couldn't finish the play. Benito Jerrold received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Honorato Transito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute Fabian Quintana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eleuterio Dabi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jesus Harkaitz took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Honorato Transito. Honorato Transito dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. If Cipriano Llorian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eleuterio Dabi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mauro Baristo went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. If Jesus Harkaitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. Segundo Ermano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorato Transito having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, Cafe Racer FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jesus Harkaitz came free, but Honorato Transito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Cafe Racer FC defense, Jesus Harkaitz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Honorato Transito. The Cafe Racer FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Honorato Transito should have stopped the shot. Independiente FC's Eleuterio Dabi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Baristo in the 75th minute of play. In the 76thth minute of the game Mauro Baristo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Independiente FC's Eleuterio Dabi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Honorato Transito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jesus Harkaitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. If Segundo Ermano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jesus Harkaitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorato Transito having to interfere. There was no doubt that Independiente FC were the better team. Independiente FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
