But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Faustino Gorka couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Hipatía getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Oscar Endura hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Faustino Gorka's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cornelio Henry was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Guido Olo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Racing Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Guido Olo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enzo Ciano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Enzo Ciano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ariel Jakue in the 19th minute. Guido Olo kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Racing Club's goalkeeper Cornelio Henry, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ariel Jakue fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enzo Ciano having to interfere. Hipatía's Enzo Ciano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guido Olo in the 36th minute of play. Enzo Ciano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guido Olo in the 40th minute of the match. Ariel Jakue received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Enzo Ciano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Guido Olo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Enzo Ciano. The goal made the score 2-0.

The wind increased when Oscar Endura made the kick off in the second half. After 58 minutes, Romulo Monico mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hipatía and the Racing Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. Enzo Ciano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guido Olo, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oscar Endura in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cornelio Henry saved Racing Club from getting behind. In the 64th minute, Cornelio Ciano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Haroldo Bilintx, 65 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Oscar Endura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Cornelio Henry tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ariel Jakue struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Enzo Ciano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Racing Club. Guido Olo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enzo Ciano having to interfere. In the 89thth minute of the game Ariel Jakue who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hipatía's Enzo Ciano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Geronimo Oskarbi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Enzo Ciano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ermegildo Pereyra's late challenge caught a Racing Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ermegildo Pereyra helped the player get up and apologised. After 94 played minutes Hipatía got a freekick which was hit by Ermegildo Pereyra. After having played for 95 minutes, Guido Olo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Racing Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guido Olo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Alfonso Medina fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hipatía's protests and gave Alfonso Medina a yellow card for diving instead. In the 98th minute Ariel Jakue shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enzo Ciano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Racing Club were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Hipatía for a fine match.
