With an all-out effort, San Lorenzo De Almagro's Tomas Endira threw himself towards the right post 39 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ignacio Lorien, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Tomas Endira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignacio Lorien, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maximino Barrionuevo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Bernardino Ursino made a huge save. Aquilino Hechter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Endira having to interfere. Severo Birila was shown his second yellow card after 79 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Ancón's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Maximino Barrionuevo's late challenge caught a San Lorenzo De Almagro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maximino Barrionuevo helped the player get up and apologised. Maximino Barrionuevo hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute Aquilino Hechter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Endira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Aquilino Hechter managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ancón's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aquilino Erruki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. San Lorenzo De Almagro had won after a very even match.
