With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antonio Urtsin in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernardino Ursino saved San Lorenzo De Almagro from getting behind. Aquilino Hechter in the 26thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Julio Elizardo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 29 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo De Almagro's goal looked a bit too open when Haroldo Rio came free, but Bernardino Ursino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 29 played minutes San Lorenzo De Almagro got a freekick which was hit by Isaias Silvanito. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Antonio Urtsin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. San Lorenzo De Almagro's Aquilino Hechter got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Ignacio Lorien had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute Antonio Urtsin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardino Ursino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antonio Urtsin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Bernardino Ursino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. de locos's Julio Elizardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacio Lorien in the 73rd minute of play. In the 76th match minute, San Lorenzo De Almagro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustin Kelemen to maneuver through the defense. 83 minutes into the match, de locos's Antonio Urtsin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bernardino Ursino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Haroldo Rio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. San Lorenzo De Almagro's Vinicio Orixe was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Elizardo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.
