The supporters of Club Atletico La Docena booed when Fierreros FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Montel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atletico La Docena's zone, Dionisio Pabla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roman Cedro came out of the goal and Dionisio Pabla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paolo Ermengol kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Fierreros FC's goalkeeper Modesto Cordarin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fausto Niva. The audience thought a goal was coming when Desiderio Leobardo got free with Modesto Cordarin in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 20th minute, Fierreros FC's Fulgencio Paio seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Fulgencio Paio the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Fierreros FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Fulgencio Paio had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Camilo Gipuzkoa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 28 minutes into the game, Godofredo Quin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Modesto Cordarin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Guaberto Osoro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atletico La Docena's supporters rose to their feet, but Guaberto Osoro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Modesto Cordarin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 34 minutes into the match, Desiderio Leobardo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Modesto Cordarin. Fierreros FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Desiderio Leobardo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 36th minute Godofredo Quin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Modesto Cordarin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Club Atletico La Docena's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Fortun came free, but Roman Cedro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Club Atletico La Docena defense, Anselmo Fortun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roman Cedro. The Club Atletico La Docena fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roman Cedro should have stopped the shot. Modesto Cordarin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saturnino Ledesma in the 46th minute of play. In the 47th play minute Fausto Niva came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Modesto Cordarin. 3-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Camilo Gipuzkoa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Fierreros FC's Florencio Jaen got a free kick in the 54th minute. 55 minutes into the match, Fierreros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Saturnino Ledesma came free, but Modesto Cordarin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute, Anselmo Fortun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fausto Niva blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Modesto Cordarin having to make a save. A collision led to Fierreros FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Denis Gaizko hit a great ball. After having played for 70 minutes, Anselmo Fortun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fierreros FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anselmo Fortun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Florencio Jaen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 74 minutes into the game, Denis Gaizko cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Roman Cedro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Modesto Cordarin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saturnino Ledesma, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Fierreros FC's Modesto Cordarin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto Niva in the 91st minute of play. Saturnino Ledesma took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Modesto Cordarin. Modesto Cordarin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-2. Modesto Cordarin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Godofredo Quin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. For all the effort they put into the match, the Fierreros FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Club Atletico La Docena.
