The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the game, Samuel Leizarraga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Elias Celipe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Samuel Leizarraga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Elias Celipe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rene Malvin in the 12th minute of play forced Griever FC's goalkeeper Carolo Perrando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Denis Gonchan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A well placed Rene Malvin short distance shot in the 22nd minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. 25 minutes into the game, Tkb's Rene Malvin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carolo Perrando made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Griever FC's Carolo Perrando proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Griever FC from getting a goal against them. In the 34th minute Rene Malvin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carolo Perrando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rene Malvin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rene Malvin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Albano Sindo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When Griever FC's Samuel Leizarraga in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tkb's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rene Malvin in the 57th minute of play forced Griever FC's goalkeeper Carolo Perrando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rene Malvin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carolo Perrando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rene Malvin, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. The audience was convinced that Rene Malvin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carolo Perrando was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Griever FC's Carolo Perrando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denis Gonchan in the 70th minute of play. Rene Malvin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carolo Perrando having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Denis Gonchan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carolo Perrando was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. In the 81st minute Rene Malvin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carolo Perrando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carolo Perrando stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rene Malvin's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Albano Sindo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Elias Celipe made a huge save. Denis Gonchan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Griever FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
