Gaboto's Artemio Rodas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zacarias Aurken in the 12th minute of play. Artemio Rodas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arif Oğuz Bozdağ, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Efrain Umbruso who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Leonel Quintin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 18 minutes into the match, Gaboto's goal looked a bit too open when Arif Oğuz Bozdağ came free, but Artemio Rodas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Artemio Rodas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arif Oğuz Bozdağ, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Enrique Tibalt helped the player get up and apologised. After 30 played minutes Gaboto got a freekick which was hit by Enrique Tibalt. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Arif Oğuz Bozdağ sped through Gaboto's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Artemio Rodas. Arif Oğuz Bozdağ recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arif Oğuz Bozdağ in the 43rd minute of play forced Gaboto's goalkeeper Artemio Rodas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute, Gaboto's Gualterio Mirande dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. A collision led to Gaboto getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Enrique Tibalt hit a great ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Blas Gil stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Artemio Rodas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zacarias Aurken in the 53rd minute of the match. Primitivo Eguzki took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Artemio Rodas. Artemio Rodas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Artemio Rodas didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 78th minute, which inside left pole to 1-4. Occithanos made a substitution. In the 95th minute, Angelo Chaime hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Artemio Rodas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arif Oğuz Bozdağ, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Occithanos's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
