After a defensive mix-up in Los Guppys's zone, Ariel Rosario stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Witalis Rosiewicz came out of the goal and Ariel Rosario tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Luis Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Puedeserpa's Cristian Salomon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Puedeserpa from getting a goal against them. Albino Loren took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristian Salomon. Cristian Salomon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. When Luis Barros came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Los Guppys fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Barros couldn't finish the play. Albino Loren might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristian Salomon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Albino Loren ran back to his position shaking his head. After 70 minutes, Ariel Rosario mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Puedeserpa and the Los Guppys players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cristian Salomon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albino Loren, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute.
