The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Griever FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Sergio Lon hit a great ball. Jonas Ermengol shot from long distance in the 15th minute, but Cosme Felipo was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Albano Sindo got free with Cosme Felipo in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 27thth minute of the game Samuel Leizarraga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Manchester City's Cosme Felipo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 32ndth minute of the game Roman Joseph who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Griever FC's Carolo Perrando was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Artemio Transito kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After having played for 41 minutes, Lisandro Montrell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manchester City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lisandro Montrell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 44 minutes, Pablo Bazkoare mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Manchester City and the Griever FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roman Joseph to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcelo Kinsen during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Manchester City booed when Griever FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelo Kinsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Manchester City's Carolo Perrando threw himself towards the right post 60 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Roman Joseph, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 65 minutes into the match, Griever FC's goalkeeper Carolo Perrando had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Camilo Roland. Albano Sindo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Albano Sindo struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Cosme Felipo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Griever FC. Ariel Frascuelo kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Griever FC's Jonas Ermengol tried to score from far away in the 76th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Roman Joseph had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roman Joseph in the 80th minute of play forced Griever FC's goalkeeper Carolo Perrando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute, Artemio Transito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Manchester City's Gerardo Neto got a free kick in the 83rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roman Joseph in the 87th minute of play forced Griever FC's goalkeeper Carolo Perrando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albano Sindo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Cosme Felipo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 91 minutes into the game, Albano Sindo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Cosme Felipo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Samuel Leizarraga in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cosme Felipo saved Manchester City from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Griever FC had won after a very even match.
