Efrain Umbruso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Cristian Salomon made a huge save. Ariel Rosario's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Artemio Rodas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Ariel Rosario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gualterio Mirande kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Efrain Umbruso got free with Cristian Salomon in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
