Ezequiel Atauri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Cheche in the 39th minute of the match. Nemesio Leoiar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Teofilo Gasteiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Flavio Niguel made a kick off. Olain's Teofilo Gasteiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavio Niguel in the 56th minute of play. Tartagal Forever's supporters crossed their fingers, but Flavio Niguel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ezequiel Atauri didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emanuel Fonso went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score.
