With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silvestre Chucho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Deportivo Chaco getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Hugo Refugio hit a great ball. Godfredo Sein showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicasio Venerando in the 30th minute of the match. Silvestre Chucho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aaron Montrelle went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Ulises Perrando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luciano Jurgis short, quick shot in the 47thth minute got Godfredo Sein to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicasio Venerando to make the kick off. But to his dismay, Ulises Perrando quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2.
