Spectators: 7185 (Terracing: 5391, Seating: 1652, VIP seats: 142) Abelardo Rainerio started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luciano Jurgi in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fermin Rius prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 5 minutes into the match, Crespo's goal looked a bit too open when Nicasio Venerando came free, but Fermin Rius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcos Jurdan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nicasio Venerando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Fermin Rius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luciano Jurgi took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fermin Rius. Fermin Rius dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Nicasio Venerando took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fermin Rius. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano Jurgi in the 29th minute of play forced Crespo's goalkeeper Fermin Rius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Crespo's Silvestre Chucho threw himself towards the right post 37 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Abelardo Rainerio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Fermin Rius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luciano Jurgi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Luciano Jurgi came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Deportivo Chaco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luciano Jurgi couldn't finish the play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nicasio Venerando to strike the kick off in the second half. Deportivo Chaco's Silvestre Chucho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Jurdan in the 55th minute of play. Nicasio Venerando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some careless play in the Crespo defense, Luciano Jurgi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fermin Rius. The Crespo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fermin Rius should have stopped the shot. Marcos Jurdan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Silvestre Chucho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luciano Jurgi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fermin Rius having to interfere. Hugo Refugio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Nicasio Venerando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abelardo Rainerio hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Abelardo Rainerio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvestre Chucho having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Crespo's goalkeeper Fermin Rius had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luciano Jurgi. After 94 minutes of play Crespo's Astor Laffitte was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 95 played minutes Crespo got a freekick which was hit by Astor Laffitte. The Deportivo Chaco players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
