Spectators: 7212 (Terracing: 5410, Seating: 1659, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Anselmo Odilon kicked off to start the match. If Anselmo Odilon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Espinillo fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when Espinillo's Teodoro Chinto looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Anselmo Odilon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Virgilio Napier's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iacob Petruț was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. 29 minutes into the game, Uriel Tanio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Espinillo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Darwen Football Club the free kick. Uriel Tanio hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 33rd match minute, Espinillo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uriel Tanio to maneuver through the defense. After 35 minutes, Venancio Guerrero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Darwen Football Club and the Espinillo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Venancio Guerrero kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Darwen Football Club's Braulio Urtats got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 44 played minutes Darwen Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Braulio Urtats. Uriel Tanio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 45th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Iacob Petruț. Darwen Football Club's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teodoro Chinto to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Anselmo Odilon made a precise shot to the right of Francisco Cheche. Espinillo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Teodoro Chinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iacob Petruț having to interfere. With a little luck, Darwen Football Club's Iacob Petruț got control of the ball when Teodoro Chinto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Anselmo Odilon scored 2-1 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Francisco Cheche, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 69 minutes into the game, Darwen Football Club's Anselmo Odilon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Francisco Cheche made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Anselmo Odilon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Francisco Cheche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 76 minutes into the game, Darwen Football Club's Anselmo Odilon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Francisco Cheche made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. After a defensive mix-up in Espinillo's zone, Braulio Urtats stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francisco Cheche came out of the goal and Braulio Urtats tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Espinillo's goalkeeper Francisco Cheche, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aristides Bonifaco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Espinillo's Francisco Cheche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Odilon in the 90th minute of play. Uriel Tanio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Iacob Petruț came out of the goal and Teodoro Chinto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee ended the match the Darwen Football Club players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
