An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron Montrelle in the 9th minute of play forced Olain's goalkeeper Teofilo Gasteiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ulises Perrando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Godfredo Sein showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Cheche in the 24th minute of the match. A collision led to Guillermo Brown Madryn getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Matias Acuña hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ulises Perrando in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teofilo Gasteiz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Olain's Teofilo Gasteiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulises Perrando in the 30th minute of play. Aaron Montrelle might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teofilo Gasteiz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aaron Montrelle ran back to his position shaking his head. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ulises Perrando to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Olain was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidoro Harri to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Guillermo Brown Madryn booed when Olain was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Dominguez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ulises Perrando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Teofilo Gasteiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the last second Teofilo Gasteiz throw himself and got hold of the ball when Aaron Montrelle in the 66thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Bruno Cheche struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Godfredo Sein didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olain. 69 minutes into the match, Guillermo Brown Madryn's goal looked a bit too open when Benedicto Aznar came free, but Godfredo Sein reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruno Cheche struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Godfredo Sein didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olain. The Olain fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3.
