Spectators: 7231 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) Butacó FC's Constantino Quico started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Astor Laffitte charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Astor Laffitte the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Butacó FC booed when Crespo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Astor Laffitte didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cipriano Amaya took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fermin Rius. Fermin Rius dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Fermin Rius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Constantino Quico, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Cesar Carlomagno struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Fermin Rius didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Butacó FC. Astor Laffitte got his second yellow card in the match during the 26th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Astor Laffitte hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. 31 minutes into the game, Cesar Carlomagno cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Fermin Rius was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Crespo's goalkeeper Fermin Rius, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Crespo defense, Romulo Haritz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fermin Rius. The Crespo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fermin Rius should have stopped the shot. In the 43rd minute, Constantino Quico made a precise shot to the right of Fermin Rius. Crespo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Marcos Jurdan made the kick off in the second half. Constantino Quico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fermin Rius came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Butacó FC's Severino Milio. But to his dismay, Severino Milio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Hugo Horado struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Fermin Rius didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Butacó FC. 63 minutes into the game, Apolo Rameriz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Crespo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Butacó FC the free kick. The supporters of Butacó FC booed when Crespo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Apolo Rameriz didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Romulo Haritz in the 67th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Fermin Rius kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 0-6 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. A collision led to Crespo getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Apolo Rameriz hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Crespo's Abelardo Rainerio got a free kick in the 71st minute. Constantino Quico received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fermin Rius came out and tried to block the shot, but Constantino Quico slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 77th minute. Constantino Quico's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fermin Rius read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Crespo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 84th minute, when Constantino Quico scored to the left of an out of position Fermin Rius, making the score, 0-8. In the 87th minute, Constantino Quico got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Constantino Quico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Crespo's zone, Cesar Carlomagno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fermin Rius came out of the goal and Cesar Carlomagno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benigno Eusko hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Butacó FC played a much better game than Crespo and deserved their victory. The Crespo players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
