The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Clodoveo Bakar to strike the kick off in the second half. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Barrancas FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Fabio Perico hit a great ball. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Barrancas FC's goalkeeper Gustavo Calvet, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Claudio Quinten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Laureano Bertol fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 49 Futbol Club's protests and gave Laureano Bertol a yellow card for diving instead. In the 89th match minute, 49 Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laureano Bertol to maneuver through the defense. Although 49 Futbol Club had been in control for most of the match, Barrancas FC still came away with the win.
