An unexpectedly hard shot by Gervasio Oinatz in the 22nd minute of play forced Barrancas FC's goalkeeper Gustavo Calvet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Nebraska United's goalkeeper Froilan Misael had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Placido Cordarrel. The audience thought a goal was coming when Placido Cordarrel got free with Froilan Misael in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benjamin Vellito during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Benjamin Vellito kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Gustavo Calvet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gervasio Oinatz in the 33rd minute of play. Oscar Maraman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Gustavo Calvet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Placido Cordarrel helped the player get up and apologised. After 41 played minutes Barrancas FC got a freekick which was hit by Placido Cordarrel. Tobias Vitin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Froilan Misael came out and tried to block the shot, but Tobias Vitin slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 43rd minute. When Valentin Castel came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Nebraska United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valentin Castel couldn't finish the play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gervasio Oinatz to make the kick off. Nebraska United's Oscar Maraman got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gustavo Calvet came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Nebraska United's Oscar Maraman. But to his dismay, Oscar Maraman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. A collision led to Nebraska United getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Artemio Silvino hit a great ball. Gustavo Calvet stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gervasio Oinatz's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. In the 84th minute Gervasio Oinatz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Calvet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
