Nebraska United's Froilan Misael proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Nebraska United from getting a goal against them. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bruno Gau stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute, Gervasio Oinatz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 78 played minutes Nebraska United got a freekick which was hit by Melquiades Urre. In the 82nd minute, Rafael Cambranes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Artemio Silvino struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Justo Niguel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nebraska United. If Gervasio Oinatz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92ndth minute of the game Gervasio Oinatz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Tirate Al Pasto's Justo Niguel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Justo Niguel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gervasio Oinatz's shot from short distance in the 94th minute.
