Spectators: 7231 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Amadeo Cuarto started the match with the kick off. Saturnino Cebrian hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Clodoveo Bakar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niceto Vellito having to interfere. Placido Cordarrel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Niceto Vellito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clodoveo Bakar in the 11th minute of play. When Gustavo Chuan came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the GoyoFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustavo Chuan couldn't finish the play. If Clodoveo Bakar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Placido Cordarrel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Niceto Vellito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 25 played minutes GoyoFC got a freekick which was hit by Baltasar Panpili. Clodoveo Bakar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Gustavo Chuan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Barrancas FC's zone, Amadeo Cuarto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustavo Calvet came out of the goal and Amadeo Cuarto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Barrancas FC's Carolo Abeijon got a free kick in the 45th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Gustavo Calvet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeo Cuarto in the 54th minute of play. Rogelio Loreto took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 56th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gustavo Calvet. Barrancas FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. GoyoFC's Niceto Vellito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clodoveo Bakar in the 63rd minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Barrancas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Chuan came free, but Gustavo Calvet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amadeo Cuarto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gustavo Chuan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 78 minutes into the match, GoyoFC's Gustavo Chuan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gustavo Calvet narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Gustavo Chuan came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the GoyoFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustavo Chuan couldn't finish the play. A hard shot 83 in the game by Placido Cordarrel from a close distance when the talented Niceto Vellito managed to make a qualified save. GoyoFC's players were relieved. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Barrancas FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
