Severino Isias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vinicio Bembe having to interfere. 41 minutes into the game, Alonzo Marques was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. INVICTUS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paz AFC the free kick. A collision led to INVICTUS getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Alonzo Marques hit a great ball. With a little luck, INVICTUS's Vinicio Bembe got control of the ball when Severino Isias tried to sneak it across the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benigno Salvator was the one to do the kick off. Samuel Cesario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Freddy Savier charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 92nd minute, Victorio Vidal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience held their breath when Roque Roderigo in the 94th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Vinicio Bembe's left hand side.
