When Virgilio Lonzo came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Sastre AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Virgilio Lonzo couldn't finish the play. If Virgilio Lonzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 11th minute, Virgilio Lonzo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Daniel Huly was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Amado Chus charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amado Chus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Sastre AFC booed when Paz AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amado Chus didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Sastre AFC's Dante Demesio got a free kick in the 18th minute. Francisco Ted sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Virgilio Lonzo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Daniel Huly having to make a save. Amado Chus hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Isidoro Cresencio from long distance, 28 minutes into the match, got Daniel Huly's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Severino Isias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 40th minute, Virgilio Lonzo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Virgilio Lonzo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Daniel Huly made a huge save. After having played for 47 minutes, Dante Demesio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sastre AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dante Demesio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 53rd minute, Dante Demesio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sastre AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 84th minute Virgilio Lonzo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Huly saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Huly showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virgilio Lonzo in the 87th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the match, Paz AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Dante Demesio came free, but Daniel Huly reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 89 minutes of play Paz AFC's Anacleto Cayo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Paz AFC's Anacleto Cayo got a free kick in the 90th minute. Virgilio Lonzo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daniel Huly read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Sastre AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
