In the 4th minute, Eustaquio Precioso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Santiago Elodio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristo Rojelio in the 10th minute of play. If Cristo Rojelio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Wakanda Forever defense, Raimundo Merexildo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Santiago Elodio. The Wakanda Forever fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Santiago Elodio should have stopped the shot. Eustaquio Preciosos short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Santiago Elodio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 46th minute of the match, Eustaquio Precioso got a very nice opportunity to score, but Santiago Elodio was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Santiago Elodio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristo Rojelio in the 48th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Melchor Daunte made a kick off. Raimundo Merexildo hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustaquio Precioso in the 58th minute of play forced Wakanda Forever's goalkeeper Santiago Elodio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Patricio Eutor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the Dúceser y Estartra defense, Patricio Eutor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Teo Gorbea. The Dúceser y Estartra fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Teo Gorbea should have stopped the shot. If Cristo Rojelio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. Wakanda Forever's Santiago Elodio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eustaquio Precioso in the 68th minute of play. Cristo Rojelio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santiago Elodio having to interfere. Santiago Elodio came out of the goal and Eustaquio Precioso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Despite close surveillance by the defense, Ceferino Ipar managed to send off a shot that put the ball into the goal to the left of a disappointed goalkeeper. 3-2 in the 85th minute. The supporters of Dúceser y Estartra booed when Wakanda Forever was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Eutor didn't get a good kick on the ball.
