Augusto Bazil's late challenge caught a León F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Augusto Bazil helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of León F.C booed when Polvaredas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Bazil didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Polvaredas getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Reynaldo Gergori hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, León F.C's Roque Iliana tried to score from far away in the 5th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 10th minute of the match Honorio Raymond sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bernardino Lopez skillfully saved the ball. Bernardino Lopez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maximo Chale's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. When Reynaldo Gergori fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Polvaredas's protests and gave Reynaldo Gergori a yellow card for diving instead. In the 13th match minute, Polvaredas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reynaldo Gergori to maneuver through the defense. 18 minutes into the game, Maximo Chale cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Bernardino Lopez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florentino Ikatz in the 24th minute of play forced León F.C's goalkeeper Bernardino Lopez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Florentino Ikatz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to León F.C getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Edgardo Pueblo hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximo Chale in the 29th minute of play forced León F.C's goalkeeper Bernardino Lopez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Polvaredas's Maximo Chale in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye León F.C's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, León F.C's Roque Iliana got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Florentino Ikatz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Florentino Ikatz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardino Lopez having to interfere. Maximo Chale's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernardino Lopez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Maximo Chale managed to get in a good position for a shot. Polvaredas's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximo Chale was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardino Lopez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The León F.C players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Polvaredas were winning 0-1.

Maximo Chale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardino Lopez having to interfere. In the 56th minute, Polvaredas's Florentino Ikatz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bernardino Lopez. Bernardino Lopez yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Bruno Nalo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernardino Lopez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florentino Ikatz, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Cayetano Obano hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Florentino Ikatz in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernardino Lopez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Florentino Ikatz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to León F.C getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Edgardo Pueblo hit a great ball. In the 74th minute Florentino Ikatz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardino Lopez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Polvaredas's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Nalo came free, but Clodoveo Camerino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute Florentino Ikatz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardino Lopez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, León F.C's Bernardino Lopez got control of the ball when Maximo Chale tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bernardino Lopez was out of position in the 91 minute of play, and Florentino Ikatz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Florentino Ikatz really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Gustavo Eguntsenti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clodoveo Camerino having to interfere. Maximo Chale blasted a shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bernardino Lopez having to make a save. The León F.C fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Polvaredas were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
