Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 5th minute Erasmo Ramond shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natalio Formerio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Natalio Formerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Bernebe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 10th minute, Romulo Eneto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 11th minute, Cornelio Joseph hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The goalkeeper, Arnaldo Jacob, was totally fooled by Matuka's Cristian Clemencin, who 14 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Matuka's goalkeeper Natalio Formerio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlos Aurken during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Carlos Aurken hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. If Erasmo Ramond had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Natalio Formerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmo Ramond in the 24th minute of play. Elias Bernebe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natalio Formerio having to interfere. In the 26th minute Erasmo Ramond shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natalio Formerio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romulo Eneto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Arnaldo Jacob tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Elias Bernebe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CA Burrito Explosion fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 42nd minute there was a penalty for CA Burrito Explosion. Ivan Chaime stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Natalio Formerio. 1-2. If Cornelio Joseph had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Matuka players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. CA Burrito Explosion were winning 1-2.

After having played for 56 minutes, Elias Bernebe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CA Burrito Explosion's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elias Bernebe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Godofredo Ignado's late challenge caught a CA Burrito Explosion's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Godofredo Ignado helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Matuka's Godofredo Ignado got a free kick in the 58th minute. Everardo Iturri blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arnaldo Jacob having to make a save. Natalio Formerio acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 73rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Epifanio Abascal. In the 73rd minute, Dionisio Serafo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Natalio Formerio made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Erasmo Ramond sent off a good shot on target. The goalkeeper, Natalio Formerio, was totally fooled by CA Burrito Explosion's Ivan Chaime, who 90 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. CA Burrito Explosion's Erasmo Ramond got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Elias Bernebe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Natalio Formerio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. CA Burrito Explosion played a much better game than Matuka and deserved their victory. The Matuka players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
