Bruno Nalo started the match with the kick off. Cornelio Gamus made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Gustavo Eguntsenti sent off a good shot on target. Fulgencio Cidro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardino Lopez having to interfere. A collision led to Recreo getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Gualterio Abadia hit a great ball. Roque Iliana's shot from long distance in the 25th minute was not bad at all, but Recreo's Cornelio Gamus knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Gilberto Ramone kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Cornelio Gamus stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bruno Nalo's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Gualterio Abadia kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Fulgencio Cidro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Bernardino Lopez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in León F.C's zone, Iker George stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernardino Lopez came out of the goal and Iker George tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fulgencio Cidro succeeded in the game's 33rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. The crowd rose to their feet as León F.C's Bruno Nalo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cornelio Gamus. That made the score 1-1 after 40 minutes of play. After 44 played minutes León F.C got a freekick which was hit by Lucio Cresenciano. If Iker George had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Fulgencio Cidro made the kick off in the second half. Bruno Nalo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cornelio Gamus having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Recreo's Fulgencio Cidro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bernardino Lopez. Bernardino Lopez yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in Recreo's zone, Bruno Nalo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cornelio Gamus came out of the goal and Bruno Nalo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. León F.C's Gustavo Eguntsenti got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cornelio Gamus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Nalo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute, Eloy Vincente left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Recreo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. After a rather tough play, Recreo's Eloy Vincente got a free kick in the 79th minute. Fulgencio Cidro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Bernardino Lopez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gustavo Eguntsenti in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cornelio Gamus saved Recreo from getting behind. Iker Georges short, quick shot in the 90thth minute got Bernardino Lopez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Fulgencio Cidro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Recreo's supporters rose to their feet, but Fulgencio Cidro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardino Lopez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Recreo booed when León F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dario Cordera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Recreo's Iker George got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
