A hard shot 21 in the game by Romulo Eneto from a close distance when the talented Bernardino Lopez managed to make a qualified save. León F.C's players were relieved. Bruno Nalo took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Natalio Formerio. Natalio Formerio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Bruno Nalo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Natalio Formerio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Natalio Formerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Eguntsenti in the 28th minute of play. Everardo Iturri's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernardino Lopez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Romulo Eneto's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 36thth minute, Bernardino Lopez skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Bruno Nalo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natalio Formerio having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Everardo Iturri stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. León F.C's Bruno Nalo got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Gustavo Eguntsenti managed to get in a good position for a shot. León F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustavo Eguntsenti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Natalio Formerio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Bruno Nalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bruno Nalo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Natalio Formerio having to make a save. Everardo Iturri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardino Lopez having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Nalo in the 63rd minute of play forced Matuka's goalkeeper Natalio Formerio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute, León F.C's Gustavo Eguntsenti dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Bernardino Lopez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Romulo Eneto went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Matuka's Natalio Formerio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Nalo in the 83rd minute of play. In the 91st minute, Romulo Eneto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bernardino Lopez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Everardo Iturri in the 94th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Bruno Nalo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Natalio Formerio was relentless in the 97th minute of the game. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
