After 17 minutes, Edgard Quirze mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alicante FC and the TURFITO players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gogo Liberto struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Ricardo Cordara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alicante FC. With a little luck, TURFITO's Ricardo Cordara got control of the ball when Gogo Liberto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alicante FC's Gonzalo Aznar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaudencio Hartz in the 42nd minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabricio Precioso was the one to do the kick off. Delmar Egoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Ricardo Cordara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56th minute, Fabricio Precioso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ricardo Cordara was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Gaudencio Hartz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gogo Liberto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fabricio Precioso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Cordara having to interfere. If Gogo Liberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabricio Precioso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alicante FC's Delmar Egoi got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gaudencio Hartz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonzalo Aznar having to interfere. Evelio Astrada charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Evelio Astrada the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 90 played minutes TURFITO got a freekick which was hit by Evelio Astrada. Gaudencio Hartz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Gonzalo Aznar made a huge save. There was no doubt that Alicante FC were the better team. Alicante FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
