The referee ignored Guaraní's protests and gave Baltasar Velasco a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Sportivo Villa Salas booed when Guaraní was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baltasar Velasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benjamin Cuartio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Segundo Eusko having to interfere. Bernardo Ioritz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Segundo Eusko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
