After having played for 13 minutes, Bernardo Ioritz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sportivo Villa Salas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernardo Ioritz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benjamin Cuartio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Ricardo Cordara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 17 minutes, Felix Transito mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TURFITO and the Sportivo Villa Salas players grew even worse after the yellow card. But to his dismay, Gaudencio Hartz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 42 minutes into the match, TURFITO's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Cuartio came free, but Ricardo Cordara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Benjamin Cuartio came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Sportivo Villa Salas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benjamin Cuartio couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the TURFITO defense, Benjamin Cuartio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricardo Cordara. The TURFITO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardo Cordara should have stopped the shot. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benjamin Cuartio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ricardo Cordara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Cuartio, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 62nd minute Gaudencio Hartz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luisito Goiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Bernardo Ioritz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sportivo Villa Salas's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernardo Ioritz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Cordara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bernardo Ioritz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute Benjamin Cuartio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Cordara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernardo Ioritz might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ricardo Cordara. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bernardo Ioritz ran back to his position shaking his head. 98 minutes into the match, Sportivo Villa Salas's Benjamin Cuartio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ricardo Cordara narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Sportivo Villa Salas's Benjamin Cuartio in the 99th minute got a chance for a shot 99th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
