An unexpectedly hard shot by Epifanio Erlantz in the 10th minute of play forced Pavón's goalkeeper Gavino Ladio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 17 played minutes Pavón got a freekick which was hit by Aristides Buinton. In the 30th minute, Ivan Cebrian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Epifanio Erlantz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gavino Ladio having to interfere. The supporters of Pavón booed when SAD BOY FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Tino didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35thth minute of the game Jose Berenguer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SAD BOY FC's Pedro Tomi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Ivan Cebrian came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the SAD BOY FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivan Cebrian couldn't finish the play. In the 46th minute, Ivan Cebrian ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gavino Ladio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Epifanio Erlantz made the kick off in the second half. With his leg Gavino Ladio managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when SAD BOY FC's Ivan Cebrian fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 59 played minutes, Pavón's Francisco Quiroga shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pedro Tomi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pavón reached it. Epifanio Erlantz struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Gavino Ladio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SAD BOY FC. Aristides Buinton kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Epifanio Erlantz in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gavino Ladio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pavón's Gavino Ladio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Epifanio Erlantz in the 71st minute of play. Lorenzo Roland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Tomi having to interfere. After having played for 82 minutes, Jose Berenguer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pavón's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jose Berenguer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 82 minutes into the match, SAD BOY FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lorenzo Roland came free, but Pedro Tomi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gavino Ladio was out of position in the 85 minute of play, and Ivan Cebrian capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ivan Cebrian really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Gavino Ladio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ivan Cebrian went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Ivan Cebrian came free with the goalkeeper in the 93rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gavino Ladio could save by the left post. If Ivan Cebrian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Amancio Romero came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the SAD BOY FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amancio Romero couldn't finish the play. SAD BOY FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
