Spectators: 6532 (Terracing: 5532, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jesus Gorbea got the match started through his kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Chañarense's Filiberto Rivas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Severiano Tristan. That made the score 1-0 after 8 minutes of play. Chañarense's Conrado Txerran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jesus Gorbea in the 11th minute of play. Victoriano Jordy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Efrain Chap had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute, Hector Vasco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Severiano Tristan managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when Chañarense's Filiberto Rivas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Chañarense's Filiberto Rivas got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Efrain Chap managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chañarense's supporters rose to their feet, but Efrain Chap was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Severiano Tristan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Filiberto Rivas sped through San Telmo Market's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Severiano Tristan. Severiano Tristan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Filiberto Rivas's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. In the 32nd minute, Donato Corderro fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Severiano Tristan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato Corderro in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 34th minute Chañarense were awarded a corner. Fred Juhlin went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Chañarense's corner Fred Juhlin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Severiano Tristan quite easily take care of the ball. Chañarense's Filiberto Rivas got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. San Telmo Market's defense didn't have a chance, in the 38th minute, when Jorge Toribio scored to the left of an out of position Severiano Tristan, making the score, 3-0. San Telmo Market's Severiano Tristan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filiberto Rivas in the 41st minute of play. If Donato Corderro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The wind increased when Filiberto Rivas made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Filiberto Rivas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severiano Tristan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victoriano Jordy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Victoriano Jordy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Severiano Tristan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filiberto Rivas couldn't finish the play. In the 78th minute of the match Paulo Porfirio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Conrado Txerran skillfully saved the ball. If Filiberto Rivas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Toribio couldn't finish the play. After 91 played minutes San Telmo Market got a freekick which was hit by Celedonio Vermudo. Severiano Tristan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Filiberto Rivas's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. In the 94th minute Filiberto Rivas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severiano Tristan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, San Telmo Market's goal looked a bit too open when Victoriano Jordy came free, but Severiano Tristan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chañarense walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
