Eliseo Pinto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sixto Eguntsenti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Barrio Fátima FC's Ezequiel Beat got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 11th minute Sixto Eguntsenti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseo Pinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the game, Amancio Kiliz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Jacobo Leheren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Barrio Fátima FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Godofredo Vachon hit a great ball. Erasmo Daunte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Leheren having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Argy Liberty lions's goal looked a bit too open when Sixto Eguntsenti came free, but Eliseo Pinto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacobo Leheren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amancio Kiliz in the 23rd minute of play. After 26 minutes, Leonardo Mikelats mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Argy Liberty lions and the Barrio Fátima FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Barrio Fátima FC booed when Argy Liberty lions was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Mikelats didn't get a good kick on the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Argy Liberty lions's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Rencio came free, but Eliseo Pinto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Argy Liberty lions getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Salvador Txilar hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sixto Eguntsenti in the 33rd minute of play forced Argy Liberty lions's goalkeeper Eliseo Pinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Efrain Txordon hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Amancio Kiliz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th minute, Sixto Eguntsenti ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eliseo Pinto was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Amancio Kiliz to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Amancio Kiliz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Leheren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claudio Raitin scored 2-1 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacobo Leheren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 61st minute, Sixto Eguntsenti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Barrio Fátima FC's Prudencio Figueroa got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Argy Liberty lions's Eliseo Pinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sixto Eguntsenti in the 68th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Argy Liberty lions's goal looked a bit too open when Ezequiel Beat came free, but Eliseo Pinto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sixto Eguntsenti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Eliseo Pinto made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Manuel Rencio got free with Eliseo Pinto in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 76 minutes into the match, Argy Liberty lions's goalkeeper Eliseo Pinto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manuel Rencio. Efrain Txordon made in the 78th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Manuel Rencio immediately put the ball in play. Sixto Eguntsenti's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Eliseo Pinto firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 80th match minute, Barrio Fátima FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prudencio Figueroa to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 87th minute by Manuel Rencio got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Argy Liberty lions's Luis Umbruso quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Efrain Txordon, made in the 90th minute of the game. Jacobo Leheren came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Argy Liberty lions's Amancio Kiliz. But to his dismay, Amancio Kiliz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Barrio Fátima FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
