Epifanio Rey kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Gabriel Feliz charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gabriel Feliz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Gondra FC booed when Chañarense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Feliz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Atilano Mantzio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jorge Toribio kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After 19th play minutes Donato Corderro shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Nicanor Ignazio and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 24th minute Donato Corderro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicanor Ignazio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Atilano Mantzio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Conrado Txerran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esteban Handi, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. When Clodoveo Rodriguez fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gondra FC's protests and gave Clodoveo Rodriguez a yellow card for diving instead. The referee gave Chañarense a penalty, 41 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Sebastian Elorri, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Gondra FC's Nicanor Ignazio. 0-3. Nicanor Ignazio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filiberto Rivas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Victoriano Jordy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Nicanor Ignazio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Chañarense were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Filiberto Rivas in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nicanor Ignazio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jorge Toribio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 58th minute, Filiberto Rivas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicanor Ignazio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Nicanor Ignazio came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Chañarense's Filiberto Rivas. But to his dismay, Filiberto Rivas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Gondra FC's Nicanor Ignazio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Gondra FC from getting a goal against them. After 69 minutes, Epifanio Rey mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gondra FC and the Chañarense players grew even worse after the yellow card. Epifanio Rey hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Chañarense's Jorge Toribio got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gabriel Feliz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicanor Ignazio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. In the 78th minute Filiberto Rivas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicanor Ignazio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Victoriano Jordy during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 79th match minute, Chañarense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victoriano Jordy to maneuver through the defense. Gondra FC's Anibal Menendo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 79th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Chañarense. Jorge Toribio kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. During the 83rd minute of the match Jorge Toribio completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Jorge Toribio a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 87th minute, Filiberto Rivas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nicanor Ignazio. The goal made the score 0-6. Donato Corderro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Filiberto Rivas might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nicanor Ignazio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Filiberto Rivas ran back to his position shaking his head. Chañarense's Filiberto Rivas got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Filiberto Rivas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chañarense's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
